Living intelligence — from data to decision, in the palm of your hand.
Data and AI that reach production: in the lab, in the company and in the health department.
SyntenIA is a technology company with three fronts: consulting, its own products and an R&D lab. What the research finds becomes a platform, and what the platform learns goes back to clients.

From source to river mouth, by people who have shipped platforms
We can join at any point of the cycle: choosing the technology, integrating what already exists, deploying AI with governance, or taking over operations.
- 01
IT and digital transformation
Cartography of systems and data, architecture and an execution plan with explicit priorities, costs and risks.
- 02
Bioinformatics and health data
Genomics pipelines at scale, epidemiological surveillance, and clinical and laboratory data science.
- 03
AI adoption
LLMs, RAG, agents and automation deployed with governance: traceable data, human review and controlled cost.
- 04
Integration and data engineering
Systems that do not talk to each other today start feeding the same base, from ETL to dashboard.
- 05
CRM and ERP
Selection, implementation and integration, measured by the process that improves rather than the licence sold.
- 06
Cloud, outsourcing and operations
Environments that switch off when nobody is using them and a cloud bill that fits the budget.
- 07
SaaS and custom platforms
From prototype to published product, including white-label and apps in the stores.
- 08
Heavy infrastructure
HPC, clusters and GPUs, petabyte storage, data centres and hybrid cloud, networks and sequencing at scale: we size it, build it and run it.
Every solution and module is customisable: each delivery is fitted to the processes, systems and rules of the people who use it.
Platforms we build and operate ourselves
It is the same engineering standard we bring to client projects.

Management Excellence Index
A 0–100 score per pillar (Health, Governance and fiscal, Education, Infrastructure, Sustainability, Development) built only from public data (IBGE, DATASUS, SICONFI, INEP): state, capital-city and national rankings, a map, what weighs most on the score and an AI report on how to raise it. Already covers 562 municipalities (PA, AM, MA, TO); any other on request.

The lab is where the products begin
SyntenIA keeps a permanent research and development front. It was born in genomic surveillance, where a data error becomes a public health error. We bring that standard of traceability to everything else.

Research lines
- L1
Genomic surveillance of antimicrobial resistance
How to turn thousands of bacterial genomes into trends a health manager can read.
- L2
Pathogen genomics at scale
Reproducible pipelines to assemble, type and compare genomes without relying on manual work.
- L3
AI with traceable numbers
LLM-generated reports in which every number points to its source. It is the basis of the AI reports in GeSUS.
- L4
Open government data
Integration and quality of public health and finance datasets, so official indicators can be recalculated and audited.
- L5
Genomics and sensors in the field
Low-cost hardware that takes the lab to where the data is born: portable sequencing and connected biosensors.
From research to product

A real problem from a lab, a company or a health department.
Prototype
Real data, small scope, a measurable result within weeks.
Open platform
When it is science, we publish: AMRnet and TyphiNET are open access.
Product
When it solves a recurring problem, it becomes a SaaS we operate.

A technology company with Amazonian DNA
SyntenIA has Amazonian DNA and works for the world. We do data science, genomics and AI to an international standard, from a region where the problems are concrete and urgent: disease surveillance, public health management, a standing forest.
Three fronts under one roof: consulting for companies and government, our own products in operation, and an R&D lab that feeds both.
The team is multidisciplinary: data scientists, software engineers, DevOps, data architects, physicians, a sanitary engineer and an environmental engineer, working together from data to decision.
Leadership

Dr Louise Cerdeira
CEO and founder
Bioinformatician and data scientist. She created the AMRnet and TyphiNET platforms, used in genomic surveillance of antimicrobial resistance and typhoid fever.
Her career combines research at institutions such as USP, Monash University and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine with technology projects at companies such as Fleury, Salomão Zoppi, Vale and Tesla.
On every project, the team takes part in the initial cartography and is accountable for the architecture.

Dr Sarah Scalercio
Director of Innovation
Pharmacist with a master's degree and a PhD. Postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Biomedicine of the Federal University of Pará, with a track record at the Evandro Chagas Institute and the National Primate Centre.
Her research in reproductive biology uses Amazonian primates as a model: ovarian tissue cryopreservation, the first step towards an artificial ovary on a 3D fibrin scaffold, and the damage Zika infection causes in pregnancy and in the testes.
At SyntenIA, she leads innovation: she brings questions from the bench and the field into the R&D lab and turns results into projects.

Cartography
Before proposing anything, we map systems, data and constraints. You receive a map with priorities, estimated cost and risks, and decide from there.
- 02
Build and integrate
Short deliveries in a real environment, with traceable data and documentation. No demos that never become systems.
- 03
Operate
We monitor, support and keep cloud cost under control. If you prefer, we hand operations over to your team.
Tell us the problem. The team replies.
Describe in a few lines what you need to solve. We reply within two business days with proposed next steps.
